Its importance science and digital technologies in our society was eloquently stated by US President <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/George_Washington\" target=\"_&quot;blank&quot;\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>George Washington<\/u><\/a> who, in his 1790 First State of the Union Address to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.house.gov\/\" target=\"_&quot;blank&quot;\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">US Congress<\/a> stated:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is nothing which can better deserve your patronage than the promotion of science and literature.
